Sorel and Aries launch ‘Callsign Horizon’ collab in US, UK and Germany

US footwear label Sorel has become the latest brand to link up with collab-happy Aries, the London-based luxury streetwear brand.

The pair are unveiling a limited edition capsule collection that “fuses Sorel’s rugged, performance-driven design with Aries’ bold, counter-culture aesthetic”.

The centerpiece of the collaboration is the Sorel x Aries ‘Callsign Horizon’, a silhouette inspired by the Caribou boot. It marks Aries’ as the first-ever partner to work on this particular silhouette, “merging utilitarian craftsmanship with statement-making style”. 

The footwear features a unique removeable zip-off micro shroud with bungee cord closure, waterproof Gore-Tex upper and Vibram molded outsole for traction.

The partnership also includes a limited-run of the collab’s Premium Aged Zip-Through Hoodie, made in premium heavy 480gsm brushed-back cotton jersey fleece. It features a two-way zip and ‘Sorel Bear’ graphic screen print on the hood and ‘Aries Temple’ on the back zip pocket. There’s also a matching knitted Beanie, with a co-branded silicone temple patch.

Sorel president Cory Long said: “This collaboration captures the energy and rebellious spirit that Aries brings to streetwear, while staying true to Sorel’s commitment to durability and performance.

“It’s been exciting to see how Aries has reinterpreted our functional silhouette with striking detailing, premium materials, and an edge that challenges convention.”

The collection has just launched via both brands’ websites and selected retailers including Kith, FWRD and Shoe Gallery in the US, End in the UK, and BSTN in Germany.

Aries has become a collab specialist with links to brands including Yoox, Tommy Jeans, KCF, Arsenal, Le Specs and Crocs over the last two years.
