Footwear band Veja’s latest collaboration with sustainable British outdoor and lifestyle brand Finisterre has just come to life to share the brands’ “passion for outdoors and performance”.

So the pair have introduced the ‘Fitz Roy Finisterre’ a technical shoe combining “Veja’s innovative design with Finisterre’s outdoor expertise to create an all-terrain shoe, designed for both everyday wear and outdoor adventures”.
The Fitz Roy, Veja’s all-terrain hiking shoe, heads to Cornwall for the collab to “draw inspiration from the rugged cliffs and sea air of the region”.
Tested by Finisterre’s team throughout the design process, the versatile shoe is “built to handle challenging terrains”. Using long-lasting materials, the Fitz Roy Finisterre features earthy tones incorporating shades of brown and beige. The laces are secured by elastic loops.
The technical shoe, which features a solid and stable sole, also has multidirectional crampons and Rock-Plate to “provide excellent protection from sharp stones and ensures a reliable grip on hard trails”.
Its Trek-Shell upper is also made from 100% recycled polyester and is water-resistant, treated with a PFC-free water repellent.
Finisterre, which prides itself on its ‘Cornish cold-water surf’ heritage, last month opened its latest retail venture, a dedicated pop-up space at London department store Selfridges, running until 21 December.
It marked an “exciting step” in the brand’s retail journey, “bringing its sustainable coastal ethos to one of the world’s most iconic department stores”.
